Leave My Father Alone - Oshiomole’s Daughter

Edo State Governor’s daughter, Winifred Isimakhome Oshiomhole, has said Nigerian’s don’t know her father’s story, not even half of it and she thinks they should leave him alone to enjoy his new marriage. Winifred disclosed this in a telephone interview and also explained why she wasn’t at the wedding. ''I think my father has finally gotten the heart to move on and Nigerians should learn to respect his decision. I saw so many bad comments and my question is, this people don't even know half of the story and they just go about writing ignorantly'' On why she was absent; The information for the day was not properly circulated, I would say I was busy taking care of my life, work and my family and I must have missed out on the plan, I cannot say for the rest of my sisters but I am sure we were not properly informed. I wish the couple a great married life and I am sure she will make my father happy.

Are we really treated like this?

During a robbery, the bank robbers shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the Government. Your life belongs to you." Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking. When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilised! This is a robbery and not a rape!" This is called "Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do! When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got." The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!" This is called "Experience” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications! After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”. This is called "Swim with the tide” Converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage! The supervisor says: "It will be good if there is a robbery every month." This is called "Changing priority” Personal Happiness is more important than your job”. The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!" This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!" This is a similitude of how our leaders handle our affairs. May God help us

Rooney is the Old Trafford specialist

No team has won more home games in the Barclays Premier League this season than Manchester United, who are aiming to sign off on a high in Sunday's clash with third-placed Arsenal. The Reds have posted a tremendous record at Old Trafford this term, even allowing for the surprise defeat to West Brom last time out, and have 14 victories in total, having comfortably seen off Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City over the course of the campaign. Only champions Chelsea can match that. One man has risen to the occasion time and time again at the famous old ground - Wayne Rooney. All bar one of the skipper's 12 league goals have come on home turf, with the exception being his classy finish against this weekend's opponents at the Emirates Stadium. Rooney has scored 11 times in 15 home league games in 2014/15, including doubles against North-East duo Newcastle United and Sunderland. He also netted a header during the FA Cup loss to the Gunners in front of the East Stand and has amassed 125 goals in total at the venue for the Reds. Furthermore, the captain clearly enjoys playing against Arsene Wenger's men. His first senior goal for Everton was a long-ranger past David Seaman and his 12 strikes for the Reds against Arsenal means he has only scored more times against one other opponent - Aston Villa. Hence, Rooney will be out to make life difficult for the North Londoners if he recovers from the dead leg that saw him substituted at half-time at Crystal Palace. As he is four goals clear of Robin van Persie in the battle to become the club's leading scorer for the campaign, he is also on the verge of achieving that feat for a fifth time, unless the Dutchman conjures up something special against his former club and Hull City.
